unhinged knitter
tonks, so named for her naturally pink hair, has a serious yarn fetish. but we already knew that! now she also has a podcast, in which she will talk about the joys of knitting, using fiber to cope with mental health issues, document her rather insane journey to a walk down the isle of a knitted wedding and rant about poorly writ knitting patterns. it should be noted that she swears. like a sailor. ;)
episode 2, in which we explore the maryland sheep and wool festival and why that chocolate angora is not my fault.

tonks, so named for her naturally pink hair, has a serious yarn fetish and will covet any and all fibers possible for the simple joy of having them in her home. growing up in wisconsin with her equally fabulous mother taught tonks to appreciate knitwear at a very young age, although she loathes making hats and socks. tonks turned her abundant love of yarn into a home based business catering to the underground scene. she now lives just outside of d.c. with her fiber-bearing pets and a very, very patient and tolerant husband. you can find tonks playing with yarn and other toys of delight at www.weavingroses.com.

I have been directed here by your post in knitherapy (pocketsize in Ravelry), and I have really enjoyed your podcast. I have subscribe to it!
I have one suggestion, though. I found your voice to come out really low, so I had to increase the volume of my iTunes and my computer to hear you properly (and, as a result, was nearly deafened by the mypodcast introductory message).
Other than that (and despite the fact that I don't like pink), it was really good and I will keep listening to it.
thank you for the feedback, pocketsize! i've played with the stats on my mic, and believe i've fixed this problem. my next podcast will tell for sure, but i hope that in the future i'll be able to have a better balance between the volume of my voice and the volume of of the ads that have to be in the podcast. :)
